Lumivate LLC ("Lumivate," "we," "us," or "our") owns or licenses the website at lumivate.ai and all associated services, including our online courses, the Lumivate IDE extensions for Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code, and the SQL practice portal. This page explains our copyright and intellectual property rights and how you may use our materials.

1. Ownership of Content

All materials made available through Lumivate — including the course content (lessons, modules, written instruction, exercises, sample and solution code, datasets, and answer keys), software and source code, text, graphics, images, logos, icons, audio, video, page layouts, and the overall "look and feel" of the platform (collectively, the "Materials") — are the property of Lumivate LLC or its licensors and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The course content is the original creative work of Lumivate and is its most valuable asset.

2. Trademarks

"Lumivate®," the Lumivate logo, and other Lumivate names, marks, and designs are trademarks of Lumivate LLC. "Lumivate" is a registered trademark of Lumivate LLC, registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (Reg. No. 8235323) on April 28, 2026. You may not use any of these marks without our prior written permission. All other product and company names referenced on the platform are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

3. Permitted Use

If you hold a valid Lumivate account or subscription, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Materials through official Lumivate products and services solely for your own personal, non-commercial learning. No other rights are granted, whether by implication, estoppel, or otherwise.

4. Restrictions

Except as expressly permitted above or with our prior written permission, you may NOT:

• copy, reproduce, download, store, or republish the Materials;
• distribute, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, broadcast, share, or otherwise make the Materials available to any third party;
• publicly display or publicly perform the course content;
• modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Materials;
• use the course content to author, deliver, teach, or offer any course, tutorial, or competing product or service;
• use the Materials, in whole or in part, to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any machine learning or artificial intelligence model;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any software, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits; or
• remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice.

5. Third-Party and Open-Source Components

Our software may include third-party or open-source components that are owned by their respective owners and provided under their own licenses. Nothing on this page limits your rights under those licenses with respect to those components.

6. Reporting Infringement & Requesting Permission
